Before you begin rootfeeding your trees and shrubs with the RF-3000 Root Feeder, you will first need to attach it to a pumping system, preferably a diaphragm pump because it provides you with adequate pressure and will easily handle the applications of a professional rootfeeder. A minimum pressure of 150 PSI is required to perform proper rootfeeding tasks with the RF-3000. A centrifugal or roller pump may not generate the pressure you will need for such a rootfeeding task.

Once you have your pumping system setup, the RF-3000 can be used to quickly and accurately inject systemic insecticides and fertilizers into the soil near trees, shrubs, and evergreens. This will deliver important nutrients to the root zone of your trees, shrubs, and evergreens. Always remember to follow state, federal, and label directions when using certain chemicals.
