If you need a spray gun that is capable of attaining optimal spraying heights, the Long Range Tree Gun (2201-3440) is best suited to meet your needs.
Capable of delivering a maximum 35 GPM and 850 PSI, this high-pressure spray gun is widely used for tree spraying applications when applying insecticides, pesticides, and fungicides on small to tall fruit trees, shade trees, and ornamental trees. It also can be used to spray low to medium sized plants and shrubs.
The Long Range Tree Gun comes equipped with a 2.3 mm nozzle and includes three other nozzles (3.5, 4, and 4.5 mm). The nozzles have a spray pattern that adjusts from hollow cone to straight solid stream. While on the straight stream setting, you can achieve higher spray heights, up to 57' high at 700 PSI. If you are spraying above 25', you require a pump that has a volume of at least 15 GPM. It is important to note that pump volume is just as, if not more important than pump pressure.
The below chart shows the distances and volumes achievable using the 4 mm nozzle at different pressures, helping you to choose which setting best suits your spraying needs.
