This repair kit is the most extensive kit available for the Hypro D50. It includes the new BlueFlex diaphragms, as well as the valves and o-rings. The BlueFlex diaphragms are great replacements or upgrades for the standard diaphragms on the Hypro D50. BlueFlex is made with some of the best performing diaphragm material available, redefining how durable a diaphragm can be. The careful optimization of the thickness and shape of the BlueFlex diaphragms help reduce mechanical stresses during the working cycle of the pump, even under tough operating conditions. A good indication that one or more of the diaphragms have torn and need to be replaced is if you notice oil comes out the discharge port or if the oil in the sight glass has a milky grey color. Stop using the pump and replace the diaphragms immediately. Serious damage can occur to the pump if you run it with torn diaphragms. Typically, if your Hypro D50 is used regularly, diaphragms will need to be replaced every 3 months or 500 hours, while valves and o-rings need to be replaced every 6 months or 1000 hours.
