Powered by a 12V DC electric motor, the Everflo EF5500 12V DC Diaphragm Pump is best used on agricultural sprayers and spot sprayers for all sorts of spraying applications.

Its internal Viton valves permit compatibility with a range of common agricultural chemicals, such as herbicides (RoundUp ready), pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, de-icers, and more. This makes the Everflo EF5500 Demand Diaphragm Pump suitable for applications that involve tree spraying, livestock spraying, lawn and garden spraying, dust control, weed control, pest control, fluid transferring, and more.

A flow demand switch is incorporated into this Everflo Electric Diaphragm Pump. The switch is designed to automatically turn the pump on and off when flow is required, eliminating the need for a pressure regulator.

Demand pumps need a constant, balanced flow. If you're using a nozzle that is too small on a spray boom or spray gun, it may be restricting the flow, which can result in your demand pump shutting off.

We recommend using the AA122-1/2-PP-16 Line Strainer with this demand pump because it will filter out contaminates that may run through the pump and damage it.
