The Delavan PowerFlo 5850-201E Diaphragm Pump comes equipped with a 12-Volt DC motor and a pressure demand switch to offer you long lasting performance for your light-duty spraying applications.
The 5-chamber, positive displacement Delavan diaphragm pump is able to deliver a maximum flow of 5.3 GPM and maximum pressure of 60 PSI, making it suitable for light-duty applications involving carpet cleaning, fluid transferring, and agricultural spraying. It also is typically found on construction equipment.
A pressure demand switch is built into the pump and is responsible for controlling it, eliminating the need for a pressure regulator. The job of the pressure demand switch is to turn the pump on automatically if the line pressure drops, and if the line pressure increases, it will turn the pump off automatically. Take note that demand pumps require a balanced flow to operate at maximum efficiency. If the spray gun or spray boom's nozzle is too small, flow may be restricted, resulting in your demand pump shutting off.
Made with high-quality components, this Delavan PowerFlo 5800 Series Diaphragm Pump ensures longer life and no leaking while in operation. Maximum torque, higher operating pressure, and / or lower amperage compared to competing pumps are just some of its features.
A strainer is required for use with your demand pump to help eliminate contaminates running through the pump, so we recommend using the AA122-1/2-PP-16 Line Strainer.
Please note that the Delavan 5850-101E has been changed by the manufacturer to the Delavan 5850-201E.
